***有新版续拍的同名剧，据说是为了和ITV的《唐顿庄园》一争高下，而《唐顿庄园》的编剧朱利安.费罗斯受此ITV1971年版老剧的影响颇深。虽说此剧许多方面都略显简陋，不过越是老旧的东西，我越是喜欢，那种腔调和意趣非后来者可模仿。
